Late this morning!  I didn't get up until 7, walked around outside and watered the garden and took some nice pictures (I'll post a couple below).  Things are good this morning, I feel OK.  I am pretty stoned at the moment - and that is OK too :)

So rather than drag on, here are some morning stroll pictures (with some touch up):

  I wonder if you all notice the Hue lights changing colors behind me.  Today's theme is blue plane so I try to match the fireplace to the light theme.  Fun stuff.  Combined with my happy light I try to find things that make my spirts brighten or relax.   I have been feeling really positive with hearing Sloan wants to do some further work other than just straight chemo.  Every one I have read about the survived a similar diagnosis as me has had the same mental approach and some similar treatment paths that started with standard chemo and then some combination of new treatments and surgery.  So I am keeping up my energy and my healthy eating to ensure that I am a candidate for whatever is coming in 2 months.  Really need to retire this sweatshirt for the rest of the week.  It is just over my other shirt, but I bet it can stand on its own.  It is bag change day and I am so incredibly thirsty this morning.  I am going to wake Tiffany at about 4:30 maybe I will be able to get a couple more hours of sleep in after as I am pretty tired. I should just do it myself (the change that is), but Tiffany has become so proficient at it and I would be relegated to using a mirror most of the time leaving me with only one hand to work with.  We haven't done the process standing up in months so grabbing things off the counter and sticking them on me while standing is a possibility, but we get better results when I am laying down. So the steroid sugar effect was really bad yesterday.  My blood sugar was so high in the car that I was pretty sure passing out was a possibility (like when we stopped at the New York welcome center).  With my blood sugar over 300 (which has only b...

 So I decided to start adding a daily picture to the all the posts.  So here is this morning's: My Nala loves her mornings with me.  Pretty soon she will run to the kitchen to try and find garbage so I will need to type quick.   Today is the day I get my port installed.  I couldn't eat or drink since midnight.  The eating doesn't bother me so much, but I am thirsty all the time.  Yesterday morning I let myself slide into a bad place.  I Googled too much and thought too hard about the possible outcomes of my treatment.  It is what it is and I am going to fight through this.   I feel pretty good this morning and I worked outside yesterday cleaning up the dog mess.  It felt great to be outside.  When it gets up to 70 degrees on March 65 in upstate NY.  You go outside!!!  The sun was glorious.  I got a little overheated and hurt my lower back slightly, but it was worth the sunshine.
